Hey, I'm Nic - the girl behind the camera.
I'm a freelance photographer with a camera, a creative brain that rarely shuts off, and an unhealthy commitment to iced coffee.
I'm not here to make you stand awkwardly, tilt your head three degrees to the left, and smile until your face hurts. I want the real stuff - the belly laughs, the attitude, the windblown hair, the kids being completely unhinged, and the moments you didn't eve realize I caught.
Am I going to tell you what to do with your hands? Absolutely.
Do I sometimes make weird noises to get kids to smile? Also absolutely.
Will I hype you up like we've been best friends for years? You bet.
When I'm not behind the camera, I work full time for the Nebraska Army National Guard. I'm a mom to a beautiful daughter, my soul dog Luke, and a professional collector of way too many creative hobbies. Basically, I thrive in unorganized chaos.
I'm still growing and learning as a photographer, and I'll never pretend otherwise. But I care about every session I shoot, I'll probably get way too excited when I know we got THE SHOT, and I want you to walk away with photos that actually feel like you.
So bring the kids. Bring the dogs. Bring the chaos.
Perfect is boring anyway. Let's capture something real.
How it started and where I'm going.
Honestly? I just really like taking pictures.
What started as me grabbing a camera and capturing people, places, sports, animals, and random moments I loved turned into something I wanted to take a little more seriously.
I'm still new. I'm still learning. I'm still figuring out exactly what my style will become-and I actually love that part.
I didn't start Nic Havlovic Photography because I think I know everything about photography. I started it because I love creating, I love capturing moments, and I wanted to see how far I could take something I genuinely enjoy.
I want to build a photography business that feels real, creative, fun, and completely mine. I want to photograph everything from families and seniors to sports, military milestones, fur babies, wildlife, and whatever else catches my eye along the way. More than anything, I want people to look at my photos and feel something-to remember the game, the laugh, the person, the place, or that exact season of their life.
I don't know exactly where this little adventure will take me yet. But that's kind of the exciting part. Let's see what develops.
The Process
01. Connect
Share your story
First, say hey! Tell me what you're celebrating, who's coming, and what you have in mind. No perfectly planned vision required-we'll figure it out together.

02. Conceptualize
Develop Your Vision
Here's where we turn your ideas into a plan. We'll talk location, vibe, outfits, timing, and all the little details that'll make your session feel like you.

03. Create
Bring it to life
Now for the fun part. Show up, bring your personality, and let me handle the camera. We'll laugh, move around, try some things, and capture the moments worth keeping.
